The dissertation is submitted in the form of four specialist articles (cumulative dissertation). The dataset focuses on the analysis of how various module topics, such as "Green Energy", "Plastic Recycle" and "Toxic Fashion", impact students' local communities, including their towns, cities, neighborhoods, families, friends and schools and covers student contributions to different eco-challenges provided within the course curriculum over a span of nine years, from the school year 2014 to 2023. Students engaged in a wide range of activities, including experiments, interviews, questionnaire surveys, photography, and video recording, to examine and understand the implications of these topics on their immediate surroundings. The primary formats of student contributions include presentations, videos, songs, and posters. The dataset encompasses a diverse range of competition projects submitted by more than 90 participating classes, showcasing their innovative ideas, strategies, and implementation processes aimed at fostering sustainability within their schools, communities and neighborhoods. These contributions collectively capture the creative and intellectual outputs generated by students and teachers alike during the competition. Each school project within the dataset is accompanied by an abstract text providing a comprehensive overview of the project's goal, methodology, and implementation process. This dataset encapsulates the creative endeavors of students who have actively participated in the U.S. Embassy School Elections Project, showcasing their innovative ideas and election predictions through various mediums. The dataset comprises more than 300 individual contributions, representing a diverse array of formats, including texts, posters, images, songs, movies, videos, padlets (in both JPEG and PDF formats), powerpoint presentations and other. Each contribution is accompanied by an abstract text, providing a concise yet informative summary that contextualizes the prediction and highlights its key elements. The dataset can be utilized to conduct in-depth analyses, extracting insights on content themes, sentiment analysis and the like, thereby deepening their understanding of students' perspectives and their evolving responses to U.S. Elections and politics over time.
