Abstract

Cognitive data relative to the learners' long-term memory and working memory were collected from a group of Grade 7 pupils (Gymnasium - Germany). The researchers investigated to what extent these measures predicted language learning gains in English after a three-week instruction period using the Feedbook digital platform. Cognitive data were collected in school over two days using laptops and a programme developed for the Gorilla experiment builder.
