Eine ressourcenorientierte Sichtweise aufEntrepreneurship: Innovative Geschäftsmodell-Entwicklung und Effectuation

The thesis combines innovative business models with effectuation, in the context of entrepreneurship, and with regard to the resource-based theory. The framework paper derives main definitions and contextualizes the work. For the first time, the relevance of innovative business models and effectuation is explained by the resource-based theory. In paper 1 the aforementioned concepts are addressed in an exploratory study with experienced entrepreneurs from the German healthcare market and the existence of effectuation structures during business modelling is tested. Hereby entrepreneurial pilot projects, as a new structure, are discovered and conceptualized. Paper 2 transfers the gained findings into two tools for business modelling. Paper 3, finally, applies the developed tools in a case study of a start-up project and complements a structure for the evaluation of innovative business models.

Die Arbeit kombiniert innovative Geschäftsmodelle und Effectuation im Kontext von Entrepreneurship vor dem Hintergrund der Resource-based Theory. Im Rahmenbeitrag werden wesentliche Begriffe erarbeitet und die Arbeit eingeordnet. Dabei wird erstmals die Relevanz der Geschäftsmodell-Entwicklung und der Effectuation mithilfe der Resourcebased Theory erklärt. Im Beitrag 1 werden die angesprochenen Konzepte in einer explorativen Studie mit erfahrenen Entrepreneuren aus dem deutschen Gesundheitswesen thematisiert und die Existenz von Effectuation-Strukturen bei der Geschäftsmodell- Entwicklung getestet. Dabei werden unternehmerische Pilotprojekte als neue Strukturen entdeckt und konzeptualisiert. In Beitrag 2 werden die gewonnen Erkenntnisse in zwei Tools zur Geschäftsmodell-Entwicklung übersetzt und in Beitrag 3 im Rahmen einer case study am Beispiel eines Gründungsprojektes angewendet sowie um eine Struktur zur Bewertung von innovativen Geschäftsmodellen ergänzt.
